The Shorthorns played the East Chambers Buccaneers on Friday night in Houston for the Area Championship. The Horns lost by a score of 59 -47. It was a hard fought game - the Horns competed well but fell short. The Horns finish the season with a record of 18 - 13. The Horns were the Bi District Champs by virtue of their victory over Comfort in the 1st round of the playoffs. The Comfort victory was the 1st playoff victory for the Horns since the 2007 season.
